Takeda appoints Hernán Porcile as its new General Manager in Mexico
The Japanese biopharmaceutical company Takeda announced the appointment of Hernán Porcile as the company’s new general director for Mexico.
The manager has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a 13-year career within Takeda, where he was in charge of the Finance department and the Marketing and Sales department of the company in Mexico from 2014 to 2019.
“It is a great honor for me to be back in Mexico, one of the most important markets for the company in Latin America and the Emerging Markets area,” Porcile said in a statement. “Our main objective is to continue developing products and innovating in everything we do so that all patients can access first-class medicines and therapies that allow them to improve their lives.”
Porcile will replace José Manuel Caamaño, who, after 11 years as the head of the subsidiary in Mexico, assumed the general direction of Takeda in Brazil.
