UCB Celebrates 25 Years in Mexico and Inaugurates New Offices

Since its foundation, in 1928, at UCB, we have dedicated ourselves to consolidating and maintaining the strategy of value for patients, which has been a priority for biopharmaceuticals at a global level because our actions are precisely inspired by patients and, guided by the science, we offer solutions to improve the quality of life of those who live with neurological and immunological diseases, said Omar Lugo, director of Neurology, Access and Operations at UCB de México.

Within the framework of the company’s 25th anniversary in our country, Omar Lugo reiterated that as a cutting-edge company, “at UCB de México, we reaffirm our commitment to continue working with the firm objective of improving the quality of life of Mexicans thanks to the talent of our collaborators and hand in hand with the medical community.”

Accompanied by Diana Parra, director of Finance, Talent, and Operational Excellence at UCB de México, the director also announced the inauguration of its corporate office to continue its expansion in our country and the region.

To maintain and fulfil our purpose in favor of patients -he said- is that we open these facilities that respond to the post-pandemic challenges that, in terms of hybrid and remote work, must be decisively addressed while promoting a diverse, creative and inclusive environment to strengthen UCB’s culture among our collaborators, which is based on teamwork and curiosity.

Omar Lugo added that Mexico is a significant country for the company, “given which we are very proud to celebrate our first 25 years of collaborating with the entire health ecosystem made up of the medical community, public institutions, regulatory authorities and of course the patients, who are the center of our actions at a global level”.

Finally, he explained that the new headquarters has spaces designed to isolate external noise, which allows for increased concentration and privacy. “The use of white noise in our rooms allows calm and tranquility, so the new workspace at UCB de México offers a comprehensive experience and a stimulating environment that also increases the sense of belonging of our collaborators, which is a permanent commitment. For us,” he concluded.
