After three years, the National Convention on the Pharmaceutical Industry in Mexico was again face-to-face. The Secretary of Health of the State of Jalisco, Dr. Fernando Petersen Aranguren, the president of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (Concamin), José Abugaber, and the president of the National Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry (Canifarma, Miguel Lombera, held the inauguration in Puerto Vallarta.
The meeting is held to analyze and reflect on the pharmaceutical industry’s role in the face of the challenges of recent times. The perspectives and opportunities of Health Systems will also be addressed. Among the challenges that the sector faces, the following stand out: the link with the agents that make up the pharmaceutical and medical device value chain and the new schemes in public purchases.
